Until recently, I've been a reluctant to take advantage of any "free" features offered by web sites such as Yahoo or Google, mostly because of privacy concerns. Nothing is ever totally free, starting with that proverbial "free meal," but especially anything online. (Where's the gimmick, I want to know.)
Nonetheless, I'm having great fun with Google calendar, which offers many of the same features I once had with WebCalendar, an open-source application I'd previously hosted on my own web site for a while.
But I've relented, making sure to pay careful attention to things I want to remain private whenever I use Google. So, here's my personal Google calendar. It does all the things I'd once used WebCalendar and Outlook to do, and it's accessible from anywhere in the world. I like that!
If you're also a Google calendar user, I guess you can schedule meetings with me online, too.
While I'm at it, here's my photo album on Google, too.
